October 2011: I won this stay and I have to say that I will strongly recommend this as a place to stay to all those I know. Its was absolutely brilliant. Lana is fantastic. She will go the extra mile for anyone from what I could see. The gardens are beautiful and although I live just up the road it felt like I was far far away from home. August 2011: I would like to commend the staff at Ocean Park Guest House for the outstanding service received. My husband and I spent a few days there for our honeymoon. The room was very neat and clean. The staff very friendly, the food was lovely and I really feel Lana had gone out of her way to make our stay memorable. Lana and Promise in particular are definitely assets to your guest house. We have given only good reports to family and friends when asked about our stay there! We will definitely be back. Just a quick note to say a BIG THANK YOU for your hospitality, the weekend that Allan and I stayed over with you at Ocean Park. We were really impressed with your Management of the Lodge and the cleanliness and overall order there. Well done!! I must say I felt more inspired when I got back to Blue Haze and have since had a whole range of new linen made for the beds, bought new towels, implemented a housekeeping stock issue and control sytem and generally had a shake up!

I hope that you are well and that life is treating you and Levi with love and kindness. Take care and thanks again for an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Ocean Park. If you are ever passing this way, give us a shout and come and have a break.

We have family in Umkomaas and often spend short breaks with them - previously at LaLa Manzi but not recently, and we love to play golf at Umkomaas. We have now found the place we'll come back to! December 2010: Lana's easy going and down to earth attitude is much appreciated and makes a big difference to make one feel welcome and at ease. I have stayed at places that may score 10/10 for all the above but the atmosphere is so clinical and cold that it is actualy unpleasant. I like the indigenous plants in the garden and would like to see some newcomers (indigenous plants) on my future visits. Winston Geringer

March 2010: I'm travelling all over KZN and Mpumalanga during the week. Ocean Park Guest House is the best. I have seen them all, hotels, B&B's and geust houses. December 2009 : As you'll probably remember I went through a very rough time at the time I stayed at your place.
All I needed was a 'warm' place with kind people and a good bed.
You certainly fulfiled these wishes and even more. You sometimes found the time to give me a listening ear and whenever I wanted to, I could join you and your family. Your kindness helped me a lot and the guesthouse is absolutely lovely and beautiful!! I felt surrounded with love and caring and I am still very grateful to you.
As I said to you before, I admire your courage and strength to lead this guesthouse, have a little baby and to be a very good 'hostess' to all guests. You are great!!!!! Monique A van de Laar
